| Import & Export Grants The Tradex Scheme offers importers the chance to take advantage of up-front customs exemptions and GST on imported goods intended for future export. The grant encourages Australian’s to be part of international production processes. Exporters meanwhile have the very lucrative Export Market Development Grant to help them with business growth. This grant is for up to 50% of a companies export expenses over $20 000 to a maximum of $150 000. To be eligible businesses must have revenues below $50 million and must promote the export of goods with delivery of services outside Australia, inbound tourism, or the export of intellectual property.
